INTRODUCTION
JamJar is a Discord bot I developed during the COVID19 lockdown of 2021 and was literally inspired by a lack of inspiration. After creating my first bot ImpostorBot, and it no longer being relevant, I wanted to create something new that people would actually want to use and keep installed. So a combination of wanting to create something and not having any inspiration ended up spawning the creation of a video game idea/theme generator that can live in your development discord, ready for use whenever you need it! Many thanks to the people below who allowed me to use their theme lists. It saved me many hours of painful thought and writing!
INSTALLATION AND USAGE GUIDE
- Click the Install button at the top of the page. This install button will take you to the Discord Bot Authorization Webpage (discord account and login required).
- Read over and confirm the bot permissions required as well as selecting a server under the drop-down menu. Click authorize button, allowing the bot to be added to the selected server.
- Navigate to the selected server and type either "?info" or "?help" into a discord text chat to get started with the bot. Enjoy!
