Millionaire Tycoon: World is a location-based, real estate simulation, mobile game available for iOS and Android through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. I worked on Millionaire Tycoon: World as a part of my employment with SavySoda. The project is developed using Unity, and I worked as one of the main client developers, working on Programming and UI Development.
Millionaire Tycoon: World (Along with Mirror Planet) is one of the first professional projects I have worked on as a games developer as part of my work at the studio SavySoda. I worked on this project after its initial release, upkeeping code and adding new features, working with a small team of great people and getting a real taste of how game development works inside the Australian games industry.
I've spent the last two years working on the Millionaire Tycoon: World alongside starting development on Mirror Planet, learning more about Unity than ever before, especially in the Unity UI System! Along with a greater understanding of Unity, I also experienced working on a multi-platformed mobile release for iOS and Android.
My role at SavySoda was as one of the main client developers working on Mirror Planet and Millionaire Tycoon: World, spending my day-to-day fixing bugs, updating UI and adding new features.
I joined SavySoda after the release of Millionaire Tycoon: World and was assigned it as my first project at the company. Below is a general guide on my responsibilities working on MTW.
